The Statue of Belief, or Vishwas Swaroopam in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, has received a high-tech addition. A fascinating exhibition of lights and sounds will now be part of the package for visitors to the tallest statue in the world of the god Shiva. The 30-minute vibrant display at the figure was powered with 24 UDX-4K40 projectors installed by Barco, a global technology company. The lit-up sculpture was enveloped in 40,000 lumens, captivating 4K resolution and was befitting the legendary powers said to be possessed by The Destroyer of Worlds, Shiva. The show encapsulated the true essence of Shiva and even appeared to change colours during the show. 

The Whole Package 

Did you know that the Statue of Belief currently sees approximately 3,500 visitors on weekdays and about 4,000 on the weekends However, more tourists are expected now that the statue has a new addition. You can also visit the fountains, herbal gardens, handicraft shops, amusement parks, an arena, and a food park on the premises around the statue. 

In And Around 

Apart from the Shiva statue, you can also visit the other temples in the area, such as the Shrinathji Temple, which is of great prominence to Vaishnvates. You can tour the Haldighati, where the forces of Maharana Pratap and Akbar fought the now-historic Battle of Haldighat. For a bagful of handicraft products, you can travel to the Molela Terracotta village and visit its art museum.
