Save the dates of the last weekend of November for it will see the return of the iconic, multi-genre music festival, Bacardi NH7 Weekender, at the Mahalaxmi Lawns, Pune. For its 13^th year, the festival has been christened #13MeraWeekender. 

The festival has long been the playground for professional bands as well as newbies. Lauded nationwide for being an unadulterated musical extravaganza, this year the line-up has international artists, such as the two American acts, rapper J.I.D, and The Lumineers, Swedish band Dirty Loops, PAV4N from the UK, and Israeli band Tiny Fingers. Five gigantic stages will showcase a selected category of music. The Bacardi NH7 Weekender, an IP of NODWIN Gaming, has enabled the organic discovery of artists and the cross-pollination of audiences across genres.  

Continuing on the blueprint of mix and match, the festival will be a smorgasbord of artists from across the US, and Europe. First off are The Lumineers, an American, alternative folk band, based in Denver, Colorado, who rose to fame following their 2012 breakout hit Ho Hey. Theywere, in 2017, invited by U2 for their North American leg of the Joshua Tree Tour 2017. Meanwhile, American rapper, singer, and songwriter J.I.D,&nbspof Dreamville fame, will further notch up the heat, with bars from his new hip-hop album. He first erupted on the Atlanta hip-hop scene, in 2015, with his debut EP, DiCaprio. 

From Europe, comes the band that has been called Sweden&rsquos best-kept secret. Dirty Loops, is a jazz, R&ampB/soul, and pop group. Made up of long-time friends and music school classmates, the band made history for themselves with their Loopified (also the name of their debut album) pop covers, starting in late 2010, with a cover video of Lady Gaga&rsquos Just Dance. 

From another part of Europe, specifically the United Kingdom, comes PAV4N the first rapper of Indian descent to have a single in the UK top 10. Dubai-born PAV4N a.k.a Pavan Mukhi was the founding member of the now dissolved hip-hop and grime crew,&nbspForeign Beggars. He rounds off the hip-hop attraction at the festival.

Having named their band on the spur of the moment, on a friend&rsquos suggestion, Tiny Fingers, is the Israeli experimental rock band, and they are returning to the festival, this year. They love Indian Classical music, and are more about the beat, than lyrics.  

Apart from artists from abroad, there will be a range of Indian performers, such as Bloodywood,&nbspThe F16s,&nbspYashraj, and&nbspHanumankind. Included in this heady list are acts such as KR$NA,&nbspSEZ & THE MVMNT,&nbspShashwat Bulusu,&nbspReble,&nbspJhalli,&nbspMany Roots Ensemble,&nbspMC Altaf (Live),&nbspAnumita Nadesan,&nbspThe Down Troddence,&nbspThe Darshan Doshi Trio featuring Hashbass & Rickraj Nath,&nbspAnuv Jain&nbspand&nbspRaman Negi.  

Keeping its long-standing tradition of nurturing new talent, the festival will also present first-time artists. There will be performances by Rudy Mukta,&nbspDohnraj And the Peculiars, Peekay, Utsavi Jha,&nbspKarshni, Adi,&nbspGouri and Aksha,&nbspVelvetMeetsATimeTraveller,&nbspWild Wild Women,&nbspDappest Adl, Fox In The Garden,&nbspPerp X Linfomation, Saachi&nbspand&nbspMeba Ofilia.
