Manali To Spiti Valley
Arguably one of the most gorgeous road trip routes there is in India. The Manali to Spiti Valley route is replete with beautiful valleys and peaks with moderately challenging terrain. With a distance of 196 km to cover, the route will take you through Chhatru, Batal and Pangmo. You can also make a quick stop at Chandra Taal and indulge in glamping and stargazing or visit the Hikkim village, which is some 20 km from Spiti Valley and do some sightseeing.

Guwahati to Tawang
This is a slightly longer road trip of some 500 km, with scenic vistas stretching from Guwahati to Tawang on the eastern terrains of India. Passing through Bhalukpong and Dirang villages, you can also stop at these villages and visit monasteries and temples. The LDL Buddhist monastery in Dirang is a star attraction that you can visit. With the lush Himalayan greenery embracing you throughout the journey, you are in the lap of nature with snowy peaks at regular intervals. The Sela Pass, at 4,170 metres, is one of the sights you will glimpse on this route.

Mumbai to Goa
This is another longish road trip best undertaken during the winter months between December and February. With the beauty of Christmas following you on your journey, you will be able to glimpse gorgeous spots like Satara and Lonavala. You can also make a couple of pit stops to break your journey in the middle, as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants where you can refuel and rest before resuming the trip. The nearly 500 km long route is through the NH 17 highway, making the nearly 11-hour long ride much smoother and easier.

Manali to Leh
An unforgettable road trip, if there is one, the Manali to Leh stretch is one that every motorcycle enthusiast wants to undertake at least once. The adventure begins at an altitude of almost 4000 metres, with the formidable Himalayas covering you. The Rohtang La and Khardung La passes will be the adventurer's best highlights on this route. Out of the total distance, the most daunting stretch is the dirt road which is some 150 kilometres and can be a real challenge even for seasoned bikers. You can break your journey at Sarchu, Jispa or Keylong. With picturesque views and lush valleys, the journey is worth the hassle. Taking nearly two days, this adventure ride is best enjoyed during the month of July and September.

This journey is full of soft views and the pleasing beauty of Bangaluru and Ooty through a distance of 278 kilometres. This scenic journey takes approximately 6 to 7 hours, leading you through captivating cities like Ramnagara and Mysuru. For history enthusiasts, a visit to the majestic Mysore Palace is highly recommended, offering a glimpse into the region's rich cultural heritage. While the Bengaluru to Ooty road trip is a year-round pleasure, the period between August and October is particularly pleasant. As you approach Ooty, prepare to be captivated by the awe-inspiring Nilgiri ghats. The winding roads and mist-covered peaks create a surreal panorama that will leave you spellbound.
