Daal Baati at Santosh Bhojanalaya, Sindhi Camp

This street food gem is located in a somewhat congested and crowded place in Jaipur. However, that should not discourage you from trying the tasty food served here. This place is among the first in the main city, starting with only the "dal bati churma" menu. If you want to taste the authentic Dal Bati taste of Jaipur then you must go to Santosh Bhojanalaya at Sindhi Camp.

Pyaz Kachori and Samosa at Samrat Restaurant, Chaura Rasta

The place serves many traditional items ranging from kachori and samosa to dal pakwan. Samrat also gives a unique twist to its samosa by using black pepper instead of red chilli. The dal pakwan and kullad chai are a must-try here. The rates are also pretty reasonable.

Bejad Ki Roti at Mahaveer Rabri Bhandar, Chandpol Bazaar

This place defines what authentic local flavour in its raw form tastes like. The dairy products here are on another level, be it doodh boondi ke laddoo, lassi or rabri. One can feel the historical vibe when eating here as they still use the traditional cooking methods they used when they started.

The dish here everyone should try here is the bejad ki roti, which is a form of a local multigrain roti made using barley or jowar, black chickpea or kala chana, fenugreek seeds, soybean and wheat with spicy garlic chutney on the side. The prices here are also reasonable. Remember to have the Rabri for sweet dish.

Pizza Omelette at Masala Chowk, Ram Niwas Bagh

One of the best parts about the Masala Chowk area is that one can find the city's best street food vendors here and try a range of tasty dishes. However, one that stands out is the pizza omelette served here. The place has been here for more than two decades now. Sanjay Sharma, a former Masterchef India contestant, runs the stall. The stall serves 20 types of omelettes to choose from. However, their main signature dish is the pizza omelette, as mentioned above.

Lassi at Lassiwala, MI Road

If you are looking for the tastiest lassi in Jaipur, then Lassiwala at MI Road is the place to visit. Served in kulhad, their lassi with a malai on top is a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavours of authentic Rajasthan. The rich and creamy texture of the lassi leaves you wanting for more. Lassiwala has been serving its customers lassi for around five decades. The ambience of this place is quite traditional, and the service is also fast and efficient.
