Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel Partners With Indian Accent For A Culinary Residency

This exclusive residency will bring the inventive flavours of Indian Accent to the heart of Bangkok and will run for four weeks, from September 7-22 and October 1-15

But what's even more exciting is the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has announced a special culinary residency featuring Indian Accent, the world-renowned modern Indian restaurant, as it celebrates 15 years of culinary excellence. This exclusive residency will bring the inventive flavours of Indian Accent to the heart of Bangkok, offering an extraordinary and unforgettable dining experience.

Running for four weeks, from September 7-22 and October 1-15, the residency will take a brief hiatus during the World Gourmet Festival, hosted at Anantara Siam, at the end of September.

Indian Accent is celebrated for its innovative approach to Indian cuisine, blending traditional flavours with modern techniques. Its contemporary menu combines fresh seasonal produce with unique ingredients from around the globe, appealing to both adventurous palates and traditional tastes. The restaurant has garnered numerous awards and has consistently been featured on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list for over 12 years and also appears on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.

Executive Chef Shantanu Mehrotra, from Indian Accent New Delhi

During this residency, Indian Accent will present a selection of its signature dishes, renowned for redefining Indian dining on a global scale. Executive Chef Shantanu Mehrotra, from Indian Accent New Delhi, has curated a special menu that blends traditional flavours with contemporary flair. Chef Mehrotra will be joined by Head Chef Hitesh Lohat and a dedicated team from Indian Accent, New Delhi, to provide an authentic Indian Accent experience in Bangkok.

Guests can enjoy the residency's offerings as a tasting menu or à la carte for lunch and dinner. The menu promises to captivate with traditional dishes presented in innovative ways. Highlights from the non-vegetarian menu include braised lamb shank, barley haleem, sweet onion curry, rawa fish, malwani rassa, sago and peanut vada, malai chicken, gobindobhog mushroom payesh, and fresh truffles. The vegetarian menu features delights such as sweet corn muthia, masala methi roti, fresh burrata, tofu medu vadai, pearl onion chutney, pickled beetroot, and roomali paneer with flame-roasted tomato and peanut salan.
