Inspired by the country's culture, heritage and the river Hoai, this new venture aspires to whisk diners away on a sensory journey. When you visit VietNom, prepare to engage all your senses, for here, the dishes served by Chef Bhim Tamang are nothing short of visual masterpieces, turning the age-old saying, "We eat first with our eyes," into a delicious reality. Chef Tamang states, "Vietnam has a large expanse and rich heritage. Hence, the culinary journey at VietNom is a culinary expedition from north to south. VietNom layers flavours, texture contrasts, and thoughtful meal compositions to create a dining experience that celebrates the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine." From the delicately crispy soft-shell crabs to the aromatic and comforting duck pho and the flavour-packed pulled duck lettuce wraps to the savoury grilled king oyster mushrooms, the menu at VietNom, Goa, is a passage to Vietnam's rich culinary heritage, offering a collection of dishes that will leave you spoiled for choice.

Chef Bhim Tamang has woven the essence of Vietnam into his culinary creations. He carefully blends the five fundamental tastes—sweet, salty, bitter, sour, and spicy—using the freshest, hand-picked ingredients. The result? Dishes that not only entice your taste buds but also offer a symphony of textures. He states, "At VietNom, we use various techniques to bring out the authentic flavours in dishes. From the mortar and pestle used for grinding herbs and spices to the wok's smoky embrace that enhances stir-fries, each aspect is crucial in preserving the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and umami tastes that define Vietnamese cuisine."

If you take a short hike from Saint Cajetan Church, you will come across the Kator Pillar. It is believed to be a representation of a temple lamp in Hinduism. According to the villagers, the pillar has an inscription in a mysterious language, and whoever can decipher it will receive a pot of gold.
