If you plan on travelling to Georgia, it's important to know that a visa is required. Fortunately, you can easily apply for one online. There are different ports of entry into the country, including Poti and Batumi, if you travel by boat. If you prefer to fly, the international airport in Tbilisi offers service from many major cities worldwide. Remember that the only two places you can arrive by train from are Yerevan in Armenia and Baku in Azerbaijan. If you prefer to travel by bus, normal buses and minibuses can take you to the city.
