The tribute will feature compositions from Guru Dandayudhapani Pillai's book "Adal Isai Amudham," including Jatiswaram, Varnam, and Tillana, covering the entire Bharatanatyam Margam. Geeta Chandran, renowned as the foremost disciple of Guru KN Dakshinamurthi Pillai, credits him for teaching her the intricacies of performance craft, nattuvangam, and for encouraging her to teach at Natya Kalalayam and later establishing her own institution, Natya Vriksha, where he provided close guidance in its early years. The performing disciples include Madhura Bhrushundi, Sowmya Laxmi Narayanan, Anandita Narayanan, Yadavi Shakdher-Menon, and Shikha Gusain.
