I must say that my stay in Barcelona was the most fabulous vacation I have had. Barcelona has pretty much got it all. From Casinos to beach-front, Fashionable Shopping areas to old gothic quarter, Mountain Tibidabo (from 'Friends' fame!) to fabulous churches...I found it the most well-set, ready-to-give-you-you-what-you-want sort of a city..

On one hand, PASSAGE DE GARCIA is the most happening fashion avenue, Le Ramblas on the other is where most of the action is... And lo-behold, Ra Ramblas also has a few souvinier and flower shops run by our own Punjabis..

In fact on occassions I heard thett Punjabi accent being spoken and surely it did sound exotic in Spain..
Barcelona is also loaded with many great looking buildings, some designed by their most famous architect 'Gaudi'. The shape is peculiar but hey, you do end up like those buildings. I feel, the entire Barcelona is a designer city, what with fashion, buildings and even rickshaws!!

People are also chilled out comparatively and you never face a language problem as most of them vaguely understand English. The other place to visit in Barcelona is their famous 'liberated' beach...Hope you know what I mean!!
City is clean, compact and enjoyable... Do visit!!
